TRENDS OF DEMOGRAPHIC EVENTS AND MATERNITY CARE SERVICES, Slums in and around Dhaka City Corporations, 2016-2023

Abstract

The activities of Urban Health and Demographic Surveillance System (Urban HDSS) were funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Local Government Division, Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, the Asian Development Bank, and the Embassy of Sweden for its establishment and were supported until November 2019. Since December 2019, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Bangladesh has been supporting for the continuation of the surveillance with financial support from Sida. We gratefully acknowledge these donors for their support and commitment to icddr,b’s research efforts.
