Abstract: The Urban Health and Demographic Surveillance System (Urban HDSS) operates in the selected slums of Dhaka (North &amp; South) and Gazipur City Corporations covering about 149,000 population living in around 39,600 households. This report provides the Urban HDSS updates of vital events, migration status, selected maternal, neonatal and child health service indicators. The table below summarizes key demographic and health service indicators for 2023 comparing with the Matlab HDSS 2021, Bangladesh Demographic Health Survey 2022, and Urban Health Survey 2021.</summary>
